Mrinal Bhatia LEED AP®
With over 10 years of experience as a project designer as well as a freelance consultant, Mrinal Bhatia has made her mark by designing spaces at varying scales in India and the United States. Approaching a design challenge with the process of logic, analysis and using a functional aesthetic, she ensures that her clients are constantly engaged at every step. She then looks to find the most appropriate new materials that will provide sustainable solutions, along with a color palette to complement the environment- a rewarding process that translates into the transformation of spaces within the rubric of elegance, beauty and sophistication.
Mrinal has a bachelors degree in Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai and degree of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design, Chicago. Her work experiences at Solomon Cordwell Buenz, Chicago, The Environment's Group (now Perkins+Will), Chicago, RMW Architecture and Interiors, San Francisco and Cannon Design, Mumbai - exposed her to a variety of roles across projects and geography. Her life in the US and travels around India, Scandinavia, Japan and Taiwan strongly influences her work.
Driven by the urge to continue learning, Mrinal enjoys taking MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), listening to TED talks and engaging with design communities.
