Clinic planning & Interiors
Contra Costa County planned to extend their healthcare services to a builidng that was a hospital once. Their vision was the build out 34 exam rooms and had resources for half.
The Approach: We proposed them a phased plan for construction and use, while bearing in mind the healthcare codes for non-ambulatory clinic, materiality to minimize germ-transfer, zoning areas based on intake and circulation of patients and staff.

Designing key spaces
A part of two phase construction, Phase II at TMC would be a bed tower building with an education component to the building. At Cannon Design, we designed the interior key spaces for this phase.
The Approach: Primarily to form a continuity with Phase I building such that it would cohesively be one medical campus.
Phase ! is complete and has been in use.

While maintaining the solemnity for a doctor's office. The clinic would also house a large area for yoga, lectures and wellness cooking programs.
The Approach: The client requirement suggested color/material palette sourced directly from nature. However dark or light, the pallete will always be as balanced as its the nature itself.
